Less noise. More intention.
Dicci was founded in Porto in 2017 on the idea that jewelry works best when it does not compete with the person wearing it. This collection is the largest expression of that philosophy: over 570 pieces across bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings, all handcrafted in Portugal, and all designed around the same principle of clean lines, considered proportions, and nothing that does not earn its place.
Minimalist at Dicci does not mean basic. It means every curve, every link, and every surface has been thought through.
Three Materials, One Standard
This collection brings together pieces from three material families, each offering a different balance of look and maintenance.
Stainless steel is the most practical option. Hypoallergenic, water-resistant, and effectively maintenance-free, it holds its finish through daily wear, exercise, travel, and everything in between. Golden-finished steel is coated for a warm tone that resists fading far better than traditional plating.
925 sterling silver is a certified precious metal, composed of 92.5% pure silver and stamped with the Portuguese contrast mark by the INCM. Silver has a natural depth and warmth that no other metal replicates, and it develops character over time through wear. Browse the complete 925 silver collection.
Silver-plated pieces combine a silver-tone finish with a stainless steel base, offering the visual softness of silver with the durability and low maintenance of steel. A practical middle ground for those who like the silver look without the upkeep.
Pieces for Every Context
The strength of minimalist jewelry is that it does not force you to choose between contexts. A thin chain necklace works at the office, at dinner, at the beach, and layered under a shirt collar on a night out. A slim cuff bracelet pairs with a suit as easily as it does with a t-shirt. That versatility is not accidental. It is designed in.
Necklaces and Chains
From thin rope chains to subtle pendant necklaces and refined scapulars, these are the foundation pieces of any layered look. A single 3mm curb chain sits close and clean for a professional setting. Add a second chain with a pendant and the same setup becomes something you would wear to a party. Start with one and build from there. Explore the full necklace and chain collection.
Bracelets
Chain bracelets, snake chains, and slim cuffs in silver and golden finishes. These are designed to sit comfortably on the wrist for the entire day and to stack without looking cluttered. Two or three thin chains together create a textured effect that a single thicker bracelet cannot achieve. See all bracelets.
Rings
Thin bands, polished surfaces, and restrained geometry. Minimalist rings are designed to be stacked across fingers or worn individually as quiet accents. The appeal is in the cumulative effect: one ring is subtle, three rings together become a signature. Browse the full ring collection.
Earrings
Small hoops and studs in stainless steel and 925 silver. The kind of earring you forget you are wearing until someone notices it. A 6mm hoop is practically invisible but sharpens the whole look. An 8mm or 10mm hoop adds a touch more presence while staying well within minimalist territory. Explore all earrings.
How to Build a Minimalist Setup
Minimalist jewelry works best when the combination feels natural rather than planned. A few principles that work well:
- Start with one category and layer within it before mixing categories
- Mix materials freely. The tonal differences between stainless steel and sterling silver are slight enough to work together without clashing
- Vary thickness rather than style. Two chains of different widths create more visual interest than two identical chains
- Keep one hand or one ear simpler to give the other side room to breathe
There is no wrong way to do this. The point is that the pieces adapt to you rather than the other way around.
Care Guide
Stainless steel requires almost nothing. Wipe with a dry cloth after wearing and store pieces where they will not scratch against each other. Sterling silver benefits from occasional polishing with a silver cloth and dry storage when not being worn. Silver-plated pieces follow the same care routine as stainless steel.
All three materials are built for daily use. The difference is that silver asks for a small amount of attention in return, while steel simply carries on.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes jewelry "minimalist"?
At Dicci, minimalist jewelry is defined by clean design, slim profiles, and the absence of unnecessary decoration. These are pieces that complement rather than compete with the wearer's style.
Can I mix stainless steel and 925 silver in the same look?
Absolutely. Mixing materials adds subtle texture and depth to a layered setup. The tonal differences are slight enough to work together naturally, and many Dicci customers wear both side by side every day.
Are these pieces unisex?
Yes. Dicci designs all jewelry without gender distinction. Every piece in this collection is made to be worn by anyone.
Is minimalist jewelry suitable for formal occasions?
Very much so. Minimalist designs are some of the most versatile pieces for formal and professional contexts because they add polish without drawing attention away from the outfit itself.
Where is Dicci jewelry made?
Every piece is handcrafted in Portugal. Sterling silver items carry the Portuguese contrast mark certifying 92.5% silver purity. Dicci's flagship store is in Porto, on Avenida da Boavista.
