1. General Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:

• Be new and unused.
• Be returned in their original packaging and as received.
• Have a request submitted via the Dicci Returns & Exchanges online form.
• Be shipped at the customer’s responsibility.
• For shipments outside Europe, we recommend using DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) to avoid delays or extra fees.

Non-returnable items:

• Used or damaged items
• Items with damaged original packaging
• Personalized or limited/exclusive edition items
• Gift cards, gift wraps, and underwear

2. How to Submit a Request

• Access the Returns & Exchanges form on the Dicci website. 
• Enter your order number and email/contact
• Select the type of request (refund, exchange, store credit)
• You will receive an email with detailed instructions for sending your item
• All shipping is the customer’s responsibility. You may use any carrier of your choice, but we recommend tracked or insured shipping for items over 20€.

Bring your order confirmation for a smooth process.

Return by Mail

• Submit your request through the online form.
• Ship the item to the address above.
• All shipping is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend tracked or insured shipping for items over 20€.
• Dicci is not responsible for lost or damaged items during transit.

4. Available Options

• Refund to Original Payment Method
• Refund by Discount Code
• Refund to Store Credit
• Variant Exchange (same item, different color or size)
• Exchange for Another Item
• All options are processed only after your request is approved.

5. Returns (Refunds)

• You have 15 days after receiving your order to request a refund.
• Refunds are issued via the original payment method, except purchases made with vouchers, discount codes, or store credit, which are refunded via the same method
• Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Once we receive and inspect the item, refunds are processed (3–5 business days)

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please:

• Check your bank account again
• Contact your credit card provider, it may take a few days for the refund to appear
• Contact your bank, as processing times can vary
• If you’ve done all this and still have not received your refund, contact us at hello@dicci.eu

7. Exchanges

• You have 30 days after you received the order to exchange your items.
• Types of exchanges:
  • Variant Exchange: same item, different color or size
  • Exchange for Another Item: any other available product in the store
  • Store Credit or Discount Code equivalent to the item’s value

8. Gifts

• If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive store credit for the value of the returned item
• If the item was shipped to the purchaser to give to you later, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

9. Shipping & Responsibility

• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
• For items over 20€, we recommend tracked or insured shipping
• Dicci is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit
• For shipments outside Europe, we recommend using DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) to avoid delays or extra fees.

10. Warranties

All Dicci products are covered by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects.

This warranty does not cover:

• Breakage or damage caused by misuse or accidents
• Loss of the item
• Normal wear and tear

To make a warranty claim, please email us (hello@dicci.eu) with the product details and photos. We will guide you through the process.

11. FAQ

• Do I need to submit a request before shipping the item?
  Yes. All returns/exchanges must be requested online. Unregistered items will have to be requested and the timeline can have passed.
• Can I combine items from different orders in a single shipment?
  Yes, as long as each item has an approved request.
• How long does it take to process a refund or exchange?
  Usually 3–5 business days after the item is received.
• Can I exchange an online order in a Dicci store?
  Yes, as long as the item meets all return/exchange conditions.

Sterling Silver, also known as 925 silver, is made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper, to make it strong enough for jewelry. Pure silver is too soft for everyday wear, making Sterling Silver the highest quality silver used in jewelry.

Although sterling silver is durable, it naturally tarnishes over time as the other metals react with air. Factors like perfumes, lotions, hair products, hand gels, and sweat can accelerate tarnishing. The rate of oxidation can also vary depending on the PH of your skin.

If you prefer jewelry that does not oxidize, stainless steel is a low-maintenance alternative.

How to prevent tarnish

Taking a few simple precautions will help keep your sterling silver pieces looking their best:

Showering & Water Exposure

• Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower. If you do, dry it immediately afterwards.

• Pure water alone does not harm silver, but most tap water contains chemicals that can cause dulling or tarnish.

Pools, Hot Tubs & Hot Springs

• Pool & hot tub: Chlorine is harsh and accelerates tarnish. Rinse your jewelry thoroughly after exposure.

• Hot springs: Sulfur in natural hot springs can damage silver. Avoid exposure unless you want an oxidized look.

Perfumes, Lotions & Chemicals

• Apply perfumes, lotions, and creams before putting on your jewelry and let them dry.

• Avoid contact with strong chemicals, including cleaning products.
  

Cleaning & Storage Tips

• Clean your jewelry daily or at least weekly, especially if you sweat.

• Use purified water and a soft cloth for cleaning. Mild soap can be used if needed.

• Store your jewelry in a dark, dry, and cool place, separate from other pieces to prevent scratches.

• For chains, fasten adjustor chains on the last hole before storing.

• Flat surfaces tend to oxidize slower than uneven surfaces.
  

Care for Adjustable Jewelry

Adjustable silver pieces are soft by nature. Open and close them gently and avoid frequent adjustments, as repeated bending can cause wear or breakage.

• Tarnish is normal – Sterling Silver naturally reacts with air and skin.
